Get ready to refresh and detox in this invigorating soap-making class with me, Viviana, an experienced soap maker! You’ll create your moisturizing cold-process soap using organic ingredients, always palm oil-free, naturally colored with activated charcoal, and scented with pure peppermint essential oil. For an extra cooling boost, you’ll also have the option to add menthol to your soap!

During this hands-on experience, you’ll learn the basics of blending oils, working with lye, and using natural colorants. At the end of the session, you’ll take home a loaf of soap — approximately 4-5 bars — to cure, plus a bar ready to use immediately!

Must be 16 years or older

Long sleeves, closed toe shoes and pants or a long skirt required. Gloves and protective eye wear provided.

Peppermint charcoal soap.

I absolutely love Capistrano Sudsery soaps. Some of my favorites are Chamomile and Peppermint Charcoal. I use the charcoal soap on my face daily. It lathers beautiful. Leaves my face feeling so fresh and clean without leaving my skin feeling dry after a shower.
